Nice first appearance by Nico Verdonck in the Porsche Supercup after a great pursuit |
 Less than 2 hours before the start of the Belgian Grand Prix F1, a Belgian pilot realized a beautiful performance in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup: started on P20 on the grid he reaches the end of the race on P10!
A big smile on his face: Nico Verdonck had plenty of reasons to celebrate his spectacular race. "To be honest, I had never expected to end so close. During qualifying I asked for new tyres too early: as the track was getting dryer at the end of the session, I couldn't take advantage of the peak of the rubber. Moreover I didn't get the right specifications about the brakes on my dashboard. Nevertheless, the team found a solution for this problem, so that I could look forward to the race hopefully". |

 A few hours before the worldwide broadcast of the famous F1 cars racing up the "Raidillon", a young Belgian pilot will try to distinguish in the Belgian heat of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. On August 29th Nico Verdonck defends the colors of Porsche Import at Spa-Francorchamps.

Nico Verdonck is a promising pilot (24) with already a well-filled scoreboard: last season he became the first Formula Le Mans European Champion and recently he did very well in the 24h of Spa-Francorchamps. |
