DB Motorsport is a relatively new team created in 2008 and is based in the Netherlands. After being active for many years in Karting and several driving for other
teams in car racing DB Motorsport set up their own state of the art workshop during the winter of 2007 - 2008. DB Motorsport is active in both regular and endurance races in a large variety off different national and international race series. In their workshop the race cars
are professionally prepared and the on track service fully taking care off. There is a base of own mechanics and if needed the team of mechanics is expanded
with as many as 20 enthusiastic employees. Everything is taken care of in such a manner that the client can race his or her car and enjoy it. Furthermore there
are many interesting propositions available within the team for sponsors, friends and family.
In 2008 and 2009 Championships and many victories were achieved by this young and professional DB Motorsport team.
Race series
In the Dutch race series DB Motorsport is active in;
- Suzuki Swift Cup, Jeroen den Boer Champion in 2008
- Toerwagen Diesel Cup, with their in house developed Toyota Auris, Champion 2009
- Volkswagen Endurance Cup, Champion in the series in 2009
- Winter Championship with their BMW 120d and 320d
Internationally DB Motorsport is active in high
profile endurance races with their extremely
fast BMW 120d and the newly acquired BMW
320d’s. In 2008 and 2009 the BMW 120d won
it’s class in the 12 hours of Spa.
The BMW diesel racers are based on the
WTCC cars and have the highly advanced
WTCC suspension with a very impressive 2.0l
diesel engine (260 Hp and 480 Nm). This
makes the BMW’s extremely fast, reliable and
very suitable for long distance races.
The German VLN Championship on the Nordschleife,
the Belgian BTCS Championship
with races on the always spectacular track of
Spa Francorchamps, races in Dijon (France)
and Zolder were on the DB Motorsport menu
in the last few years.
Arrive and Drive
DB Motorsport offers full service possibilities
in most car race series, the “Arrive and Drive”
concept. The team takes care of every aspect
of the races and all the driver has to do is
arrive and step in to his or her race car. With
the use of data recording and video-analysis
we make sure that the driver can develop his
skills in a professional and efficient way.
DB Motorsport offers a race driver a variety of
possibilities, both with their own race car or
one of the team racers. Almost every
combination is possible and the essence is to
combine both the budget and the potential of
a driver into a year of fun with results.
Sponsors
Most drivers depend on sponsors to enable
them to race cars. In return most sponsors
expect certain services in return during the
races. DB Motorsport offers a scale of
hospitality facilities and on track events
catered towards the very needs of both
sponsors and their guests.
